I played for a quickie on the Development Server.
Started good with m4 silenced, then after playing for a while i fell of a roof (no surprise there ). died and respawned. When starting there was no m4 silenced only a m9 pistol which didn't want to shoot, So i thought i drag the boat to the water, that worked oke, then when entering the water, immediately after, the boat disappeared. Did let my self get killed to respawn. Did so, no m4, m9 worked until you switch from silence to loud or vice versa then it cant shoot. Broke into a car drove it got out and pistol worked again. Got shot respawned, no m4, m9 works as long as you don't switch from silence to loud or vice versa.
Can't say much more at the moment about the Uprising gametype, played to short for that, but will go give it another try again today. Thx too all who worked on this so far, seems a promising gametype.
After playing yesterday, the consensus regarding what should happen when you die, is that you should respawn with your previous gear items and that your old body should be removed. This makes sense, so I've updated the code. I've also set so that it should save your backpack & items inside too!
There was still an issue with spawn points, which I hopefully have corrected. If someone dies, then whoever is carrying the satphone needs to place it in order that the respawnee can rejoin you, rather than started right at the start. Once you have a safehouse, the safehouse will become the start point.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
